Installation Ceremony of President Nidhi Sehgal & Executive Team (2026–27)

Jalandhar, July 1, 2026: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar celebrated its Installation Ceremony with grace, warmth and enthusiasm, formally installing Nidhi Sehgal as President for the Inner Wheel year 2026–27, along with her Executive Team. The occasion was graced by distinguished Past District Chairmen (PDCs) and Chief Guest Xabina Bhaseen.
President Nidhi Sehgal and Secretary Punam Jagota extended a floral welcome to the Chief Guest, while Anita Chawla warmly welcomed the esteemed PDCs. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the soulful recitation of auspicious shlokas by Neelu Mohendru, creating a serene and dignified atmosphere.
Outgoing President Inderkiran Toor delivered a heartfelt farewell address, expressing sincere gratitude to all members for their unwavering support during her tenure. She ceremonially adorned the incoming President with the President’s Collar and handed over the Club Charter, symbolizing the smooth transition of leadership.
The Executive Committee for the Inner Wheel year 2026–27 is as follows: President: Nidhi Sehgal, Vice-President: Nimmi Chaudhary, Immediate Past President: Inderkiran Toor, Secretary: Punam Jagota, Joint Secretary: Anita Chawla, Treasurer: Rekha Arora, ISO: Neelu Mohendru, Editor: Niru Chawla, PDC: Jagbans Toor, Kumud Sehgal, Vineeta Seth, Asha Paul and Adarsh Sood, Executive Members: Dr Harjinder Kaur, Seema Arora, Sneh Arora, Dalbir Kaur and Kiran Sachdeva.
President Nidhi Sehgal shared her vision for the year ahead and outlined the Club’s upcoming projects and goals. Her biodata was eloquently presented by Niru Chawla, while Anju Sharma gracefully introduced the Chief Guest.
Secretary Punam Jagota announced the names of members celebrating birthdays  in June and July, who were felicitated with thoughtful tokens of love. The projects planned for the day were presented by Mrs. Anita Chawla and formally executed by the President, Secretary and Chief Guest.
PROJECTS OF THE DAY: 20
Monetary help was given to Animal protection home for cows and for medical help to Animal protection for stray dogs to an NGO.  Medical aid for an artificial limb given to a young boy with bone tumor . Amount was given for Breakfast to be served twice in a month in Civil hospital. Financial help was given to a mentally depressed lady.  Cycles were provided to a gardener and a working girl.  Education support in terms of monthly and annual fees was given to 16 school going students.  One harmonium was also donated to a student. One Almirah was donated at a school for keeping files and stationary safe. On Doctor’s day, amount needed for injections in whole year for a needy dialysis patient was given. 
PDC Vineeta Seth blessed the newly installed team with her inspiring words of encouragement and guidance. Chief Guest Xabina Bhaseen appreciated the Club’s meaningful service initiatives and congratulated the new Executive Team. She was presented with a token of love by the President and Secretary.
The ceremony was conducted with elegance and confidence by Seema Arora, and concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice-President Nimmi Chaudhary.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of 40 members, including PDC Jagbans Toor, PDC Vineeta Seth, PDC Asha Paul and PDC Adarsh Sood, making it a memorable celebration of fellowship, leadership and the spirit of service.
