Carrying the touch of divinity, Sony SAB's 'Dharm Yoddha Garud' is popular among the fans for its mesmerizing storytelling. Parul Chauhan who essays the role of Kadru, is appreciated by the audience not just for her splendid performance, but also the look which she especially created for her role.

Not many would know that Parul created her own look for Kadru and planned her own makeup. Yes, you heard it right! Although Parul’s character Kadru used to be evil, she accepted Vinta as a sister and managed to subvert the audience's expectations of her evil traits. This reformed outlook and interesting role development is reflected in her intense makeup, as she possesses a deep understanding of her character which is slowly navigating this new path.

Parul Chauhan, who plays the role of Kadru in Dharm Yoddha Garud shares more about her makeup and look, “I enjoy doing makeup and hence suggested to the team that I try my hand at it as I wanted a different look for the character. The producers gave me the chance and they loved what I did! It's fun to do Kadru's makeup by myself every day because I get to use products that I have handpicked and get creative with them. It also helps when I'm running late as I apply my makeup in the car, so by the time I get to the sets, all I have to do is put on my costume. Speaking of the costume, my wig is heavy since they wanted a bouncy hairdo. The Mukut and other jewellery are also quite heavy, and my full look takes about an hour and a half. But I adore my look, even with all the heavy material because seeing my work get appreciated at the end of the day makes it all worth the effort!"
