Inspection conducted by the Council of Architecture team at Planning and Architecture Department of DLC SUPVA

Rohtak, January 29, 2026: The team from the Council of Architecture inspected the Planning and Architecture Department of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) on Thursday. During this, they highly appreciated the facilities provided to architecture students at DLCSUPVA and the university's infrastructure. The annual inspection team said that they also noted some points which they will recommend to the Council of Architecture to implement in other institutions.

The State Architect of the Andhra Pradesh Government AR Naveen Kanithi, and Member Nominated Dr. Ketan S. Kimatkar, were part of the team visiting DLCSUPVA for the annual inspection on behalf of the Architecture Council, were welcomed by the FC of the Planning and Architecture Department, Ajay Bahu Joshi, and Dean Academic Affairs, Dr. Ajay Kaushik, with bouquets.

The team members said that such inspections are carried out to ensure quality and compliance in architectural education. They inspected the Architecture Lab and studied the facilities available to the students here. They asked in detail about the infrastructure of the university and obtained a complete report about the Architecture Faculty. The team also took feedback from faculty and students by holding separate meetings. The team also visited the exhibition related to their work put up by the students. The Architecture Council team praised the student-faculty ratio and lab of the Planning and Architecture Department of DLCSUPVA.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, said that just as a UGC team inspects a university, in the same way, the team from the Council of Architecture inspects the Planning and Architecture Department. This annual inspection helps us identify our strengths and weaknesses. If the inspection team points out any deficiencies, they are immediately corrected, because our priority is to educate students with top-notch facilities. VC Dr. Arya stated that our effort is to train architects who will, through their outstanding future projects, bring recognition to Haryana both nationally and internationally.
