Chandigarh, May 2, 2022: Insecticides (India) Ltd.(IIL), one of India's leading crop protection companies, has unveiled two new products today at Chandigarh with Nissan Chemical Corporation delegates. Shinwa, a novel insecticide by Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan, and Izuki, a fungicide developed in technical collaboration with Japan's Nissan Chemical Corporation were both launched today.

Shinwa is a novel insecticide which effectively controls Thrips and Lepidopteran pests, in a variety of Crops. Shinwa provides a good control due to its quick knock down effect and provides longer duration of control than other available insecticides. Shinwa is a promising product for IIL as this will open its avenues to a larger market in variety of crops like brinjal, okra, chilli, tomato, cabbage and red gram etc. 

Izuki is a unique broad-spectrum fungicide with excellent prophylactic and curative properties. Izuki protects paddy against diseases such as blast and sheath blight. Izuki is a very safe molecule for the environment.

"Shinwa has been found to be effective in both high and low temperatures, with a rain fastness of around 2 hours (ability to resist removal or wash-off due to rain and other environmental effects). Shinwa is a fast-acting insecticide that causes target pests to stop damaging crops and they begin dying within a few hours of the spray.
