Innovation Day Celebration at GNA University
School of Natural Sciences in collaboration with GU - IIC of GNA University celebrated “Innovation Day” by organizing a Guest Lecture. The objective of this event was to instill among the students to come up with innovative ideas and step into start up activities.

Jalandhar, October 18, 2023: School of Natural Sciences in collaboration with GU - IIC of GNA University celebrated “Innovation Day” by organizing a Guest Lecture. The objective of this event was to instill among the students to come up with innovative ideas and step into start up activities.
Dr. Mohit Kumar, Assistant professor, Department of Information Technology, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar on “Innovation Day” on the theme - Start -Up & Innovation”. The speaker interacted with students and made them aware about the start-Up and different schemes of government regarding Start-Up and Investments.
At the end of the session, participants and position holders of the event of Chandrayaan Utsav were given the certificates for their creative ideas. The session was attended by 208 students and 13 faculty members.
Dr. Yogesh Bhalla, Assistant Professor cum HOD, School of Natural Sciences presented the Vote of Thanks at the end of the session.
Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Chancellor of the University expressed, “I am delighted to see the hard work of the SNS team for organizing such informative sessions for the students regarding Startup & innovation.”
Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized “Such sessions of Innovation & Start - Ups will motivate the students to bring and think about new ideas which will help in the growth of the society”.
