Innocent Hearts School shows superiority in zone 3 tournament winning gold medals galore

Jalandhar, September 11, 2018: Innocentites showed dominance and brought laurels to the school by achieving gold medals in Punjab Zonal Tournament which was conducted by the Punjab School Education Board. The students played U-14, U-17 and U-19 categories in various games like Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, kho-kho and many more. The Table Tennis teams won gold medals in U-14 and U-19 girls’ categories. The U-14 boys’ team too won the gold medal in Table Tennis defeating the team of Apeejay School. The U-19 boys played enthusiastically in Basket Ball and bagged the gold medal by defeating MGN School. The Innocentites continued to reign supreme in cricket, once again bagging the gold medal having competed with the team of MGN School. In badminton, U-17 boys and U-19 girls attained the second and third position respectively. The Kho-Kho team U-19 boys got second position. At District Level Avreen Kaur got the gold medal in 1500m Roller Skating race while Ekampreet also got a gold medal in 500m race. Avreen and Ekampreet both got silver medals in 1000m skating race. Akriti got a silver medal in 500m. Akriti and Karman got silver and bronze medal respectively in Road Race. Director Principal Schools Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated the winners and wished them good luck for future. Dr. Anup Bowry Academic Secretary of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust applauded the efforts of the students and motivated them to go ahead with the same spirit.
