Innocent Hearts School celebrates World Red Cross Day

Jalandhar, May 8, 2017: World Red Cross Day has been celebrated in G.M.T. and Loharan .
On this day, Dr.Saurabh Mittal, DNB, FAICO Cornea, Squint & Paediatric Consultant, Punjab Medical Council- from Thind Hospital has been invited. He was welcomed by the Director Principal – Mr.Dheeraj Banati and Vice- Principal – Mrs.Sharmila Nakra.
In Loharan Campus Dr.Saurabh was welcomed by senior wing Incharge- Ms.Shalu Sehgal .The doctor explained the importance of eyes to the students through PPT. He also explained about the diseases of eyes and ways to look after the eyes and symptoms to diagnose diseases of eyes. He also mentioned that rubbing of eyes can harm our eyes.
On this occasion, Dr.Srivastav also accompanied him. The Director Principal - Mr.Dheeraj Banati mentioned that eyes are our vital organs and we should take care of them. He cited the example of, “Helen Keler” and mentioned that who are deprived of these organ only know the importance of colours. He should go to the doctor for regular check-ups.
The Director Principal- Mr.Dheeraj Banati presented token of reverence to Dr.Saurabh Mittal.
