Innocent Hearts Celebrates Remarkable Achievements in Chess and Skating; Nationally and Internationally

Jalandhar, July 4, 2025: A proud moment for Innocent Hearts School, two students have brought laurels to the institution by excelling in national and international-level sports competitions. Tanvir Kaur Khinda, a bright student of Grade II from Innocent Hearts School, Noorpur Branch, showcased exceptional talent at the 38th National Under-9 Chess Championship held in Gurgaon from June 15 to 21, 2025. Her stellar performance earned her selection for the Asian Games (International Level). What makes this feat even more commendable is that she achieved an international rating of 1570, the highest ever by any girl in Punjab in this age group. Adding to the school’s pride, Hargun Hundal, a dedicated athlete from Grade X-D of Green Model Town  branch secured the bronze medal in the 10,000-meter point-to-point (road) race at the 9th Ranking Speed Skating National Championship held in Kolkata from June 19 to 23, 2025. Her perseverance and grit on wheels brought him national recognition and applause. Dr. Anup Bowry, chairman of  Innocent Hearts School congratulated both the students for their remarkable achievements and appreciated the efforts of the coaches and parents who supported them throughout.
