Innocent Hearts celebrated Raksha Bandhan, a festival signifying the unbreakable bond of brother and sister

The five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Royal World and Kapurthala Road) celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with great fervour.

Jalandhar, August 10, 2022:  The five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Royal World and Kapurthala Road) celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with great fervour. A plethora of activities was organised. The rakhi-making activity was conducted under the 'Bond of Togetherness' for the little ones of Pre-Primary School, Innokids. Children also brought sweets in their tiffins and shared. The girls tied rakhis to the students who were dressed up as soldiers and danced to the song 'Behna ne Bhai ki kaalai pe pyar bandha hai'.  

On this occasion, thali decoration and rakhi-making activities were conducted by the children.  The creativity of the students was highly appreciated. On this occasion, beautiful cards were made by the girls to gift to their brothers, with the messages for their brothers. The enthusiasm of the children was visible while doing all these activities. In all the classes, the class mentors told the children that this festival is a symbol of the unconditional love and faith of brother and sister. 

On this day, sisters tie rakhi on their brother's wrist and wish him long life and prosperity and while brothers promise to protect their sister from all troubles. The teachers congratulated the children on Raksha bandhan and told about the importance of this festival and asked them to celebrate every festival with great enthusiasm.
