Inner Wheel Club Transforms Jalandhar Park into a Hub of Fitness and Community Engagement
The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar, under the presidentship of Punam Jagota and the leadership of Project Director Nimmi Chaudhary, executed a mega beautification project in collaboration with Rail Vihar Society, Jalandhar. The initiative successfully cleaned and revitalized the local park with active support from the society.

Jalandhar, May 2, 2025: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar, under the presidentship of Punam Jagota and the leadership of Project Director Nimmi Chaudhary, executed a mega beautification project in collaboration with Rail Vihar Society, Jalandhar. The initiative successfully cleaned and revitalized the local park with active support from the society.
As part of the beautification efforts, a badminton court was constructed to promote fitness across all age groups, with a special match organized for girls and women. Community members, including children and senior citizens, enthusiastically participated and appreciated the transformed space.
Adopted children from Baba Saheb Ambedkar Stadium were also involved in the event. They participated in football matches and were provided with T-shirts, water bottles, rackets, and refreshments.
The project also included a tree plantation drive, which added to the park’s greenery. Inner Wheel Club branding through banners, umbrellas, and caps helped raise awareness about the club's initiatives. Regular yoga sessions have now commenced at the park, further promoting health and well-being.
The project received widespread appreciation for turning the park into a vibrant, inclusive community space.
Members present during the project included Dr. Harjinder, Anita Chawla, Niru Chawla, Rekha Arora, Seema Arora, Neelu Mohendru, Anju Sharma, Rajkamal, and Kiran Sachdeva.
