Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar Spreads Kindness through Multiple Service Initiatives

Jalandhar, October 27, 2025: Under the able leadership of President Inderkiran Toor, the Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar carried out several meaningful projects in October, reflecting its true spirit of service and compassion.

A free eyesight check-up camp was organized at R.K. Memorial Public School, benefiting around 50 students and promoting awareness about eye health among children. One of the members organized a langar at Sodal Road on her husband’s birthday, while the club extended educational support by paying the entire annual fee of Anshul Rathore, a Class 12 student, and two months’ fees for another needy student.

Ration and bed sheets were distributed among four underprivileged women, and financial aid was provided to another woman to help meet her daily needs. During a visit to Delhi, a member spent time with orphans at a Welfare Home for Children, distributing 40 gift packets and arranging lunch for them on her daughter’s birthday. Another member planted a sapling and hosted a lunch at Apahaj Ashram.

At Village Seena, stationery, refreshments, and juice were given to school students, along with two air coolers and funds for building repairs. The club also donated a grinder mixer, ladies’ suits, and cash to a needy woman for her daughter’s wedding, distributed eatables at Mother Teresa Home, and provided toiletries to Chanan Vocational Centre.

Through these diverse humanitarian initiatives, the Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar continues to uphold its mission of spreading kindness and making a positive impact in the community.
