Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar Marks Women’s Day with Medical Aid and Community Welfare Activities
The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar celebrated Women’s Day in a meaningful manner by organizing a series of welfare initiatives throughout the week under the leadership of President Inderkiran Toor. The club undertook several social projects aimed at supporting women and promoting community well-being.

Jalandhar, March 10, 2026: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar celebrated Women’s Day in a meaningful manner by organizing a series of welfare initiatives throughout the week under the leadership of President Inderkiran Toor. The club undertook several social projects aimed at supporting women and promoting community well-being.
As part of the initiative, medical assistance was provided to five needy women suffering from different gynaecological problems who were unable to afford treatment due to financial constraints. Some beneficiaries received partial financial support while the complete medical bills of others were cleared. The club expressed its gratitude to Vikram Hospital for its unconditional support and cooperation in facilitating the medical assistance.
The club also organized a meditation session where women were taught techniques to calm their minds and manage stress and aggression. In addition, a makeup session was conducted for club members at Palak Beauty Parlour Academy, where demonstrations on eye and party makeup were given specifically for women aged fifty and above.
Continuing its outreach activities, the club distributed toiletries, kitchen items and clothes according to the needs of beneficiaries. Members also served lunch to 20 residents of Andh Aashram at Model Town, spreading warmth and care on the occasion.
