Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar Continues Its Service Endeavours
Under the guidance of President Nidhi Sehgal, the Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar has undertaken several meaningful social welfare projects in the past few days, addressing the needs of schools, the environment, and underprivileged members of society.
Jalandhar, August 13, 2026: Under the guidance of President Nidhi Sehgal, the Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar has undertaken several meaningful social welfare projects in the past few days, addressing the needs of schools, the environment, and underprivileged members of society.
Supporting School Infrastructure: Understanding the needs of students, 10 ceiling fans were donated to Ravinder Khullar Memorial G.M. Model Senior Secondary School, Model Town, Jalandhar. The fans were handed over in the presence of Director Abkar Singh and Principal Varinder Jeet Kaur.
Continuing the Plantation Drive: As part of the Club’s ongoing commitment towards environmental conservation, 20 fruit-bearing saplings were planted at Government Senior Secondary School, Sofi Pind, promoting a greener and healthier environment for future generations.
Comfort for the Needy: Four beds were donated to Aakhri Umeed Sewa Ghar to provide greater comfort and better living conditions to its inmates.
Restoring Mobility and Dignity: In a compassionate effort to support a woman from an economically weaker section, artificial limbs were provided to a needy lady who had suffered a serious fall from a height and was unable to stand or walk. The initiative aimed at restoring her mobility, independence and dignity.
Relief from the Summer Heat: A medium-sized refrigerator and a table fan were provided to another needy woman, helping her cope with the intense summer heat and making her daily life a little more comfortable.
Through these initiatives, the Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar continues to translate care into action and compassion into meaningful service, reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of society.
