Jalandhar, August 6, 2026: Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar celebrated the festivals of Teej, Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour during its monthly meeting, held under the dynamic presidentship of Nidhi Sehgal.

The meeting commenced with the prescribed Inner Wheel protocols, followed by Secretary Punam Jagota, who warmly announced and celebrated the birthdays of club members.

IPP Inderkiran Toor delivered an informative session on the Rules and Regulations for Joining and Leaving the Club, enriching members with valuable knowledge about Inner Wheel procedures.

To encourage creativity and participation, two engaging competitions were organised. In the Hand-Painted Independence Day Greeting Card Competition, Niru Chawla secured the First Prize, while Inderkiran Toor won the Second Prize. In the Rakhi Presentation Competition, Pooja Saini emerged as the winner.

Adding a patriotic and festive spirit to the gathering, Jaswant Minhaas recited a touching poem expressing love for the nation, while Pushpa Arora beautifully presented a poem celebrating the sacred bond of Raksha Bandhan. Members also enthralled everyone with a delightful Krishna Leela skit and a vibrant, high-energy Giddha performance, which received immense appreciation. Exciting rounds of Tambola added further fun and enjoyment to the celebration. The meeting was lively, entertaining and impeccably organised by Project Directors Sneh Arora and Kiran Sachdeva . The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Vice President Nimmi Chaudhary.
