Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar Celebrates Golden Jubilee, Marks 50 Years of Service and Friendship

Jalandhar, March 31, 2026: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar, District 307, celebrated its Golden Jubilee, marking 50 glorious years of legacy of selfless service and friendship, under the leadership of club President Inderkiran Toor.
The event was graced by District Chairman Priti Khajuria who was the Chief Guest and Dr. Surjit Kaur (PAP PIIWBD) who was the Guest of honour, along with the Golden member of club PDC Jagbans Toor. Other eminent personalities present were Kumud Sehgal, Asha Paul, Adarsh Sood, Dr. Jasmine Gill, Radhika Garg, Timatny Ahluwalia , Seema Rajan. Husbands of all members were also invited.
The meeting commenced as per protocol with decorating the dais and adorning the President and district Chairman with their collars. A warm floral welcome was extended to all the dignitaries. The ceremonial lighting of lamp marked formal inauguration, which was followed by the President’s welcome address in which she spoke about various projects done by club for the betterment of the society. Introduction of dignitaries was given by the club Secretary, Nidhi Sehgal. PDC Jagbans Toor, the charter member, shared her 50-year journey with the house.
Other highlights of the day included - Felicitation of Past Presidents with beautiful trophies and gifts, games and a funny Question Answer round in which everyone participated very enthusiastically.
Meeting was well coordinated by Anita Chawla and Niru Chawla and audience enjoyed songs by famous singer Antariksh Pasricha.
The day was immortalised for years to come in club history, by the adorning of The Golden Collar, which was followed by great celebrations. Tokens of appreciation were presented to all members, their husbands and the hotel staff. Cake cutting ceremony was held which was followed by lunch.
Club members Rekha Arora, Neelam Mahendru, Rajkamal, Kiran Sachdeva, Seema Arora , Punam Jagota and Sneh Arora left no stone unturned to make the program a great success.
