Inner Wheel Club Jalandhar host PDC Meet

Jalandhar, April 3, 2024: 2nd April was a memorable day for Inner Wheel Club, Jalandhar. It was really a proud moment to host PDC (Past District Chairman) Meet, District 307 - "Nighi Galwakdi”.
 
District Chairman Dr. Satinder Nijjar was the Chief Guest. The meeting was conducted under the guidance of President Nimmi Chaudhary and Secretary Poonam Jagota. Inderkiran Toor was the meeting convener. 

The meeting started with the formal protocol. All Past District Chairman were welcomed by flowers and beautiful titles in poetic style by PDC Kumud Sehgal and Jaswant Minhas. PDC Vineeta Seth chanted blissful shlokas at the time of  lighting of the lamp ceremony which was followed by a melodious welcome song sung by Kulwant Kalsi and Neelu Bhandari.

The day was stacked with a brilliant dance performance by Dr.Kanwaljit Madan and Sangeeta Mohindru. District executive gave a dance performance and sang Punjabi tappe. A ramp walk was conducted with the theme - ''Wonder Women”, in which PDCs showed glam and grace. Various games were conducted which were enjoyed by one and all. PDC Jaswant Toor, PDC Kumud Sehgal, PDC Vineeta Seth, PDC Asha Paul and PDC Adarsh Sood participated with excitement in these activities. The highlight of the event was a breath-taking Giddha performance by host club members which pulled everyone on stage. The PDCs were honoured with personalised mementos with their picture. The meeting was loaded with gifts, prizes and lucky draws for the dignitaries and guests. A Vote of thanks was extended by IWC Jal. Vice President Niru Chawla. In all 19 PDCs, 5 District Executive members and 42 club members attended the meeting.
