Inner Wheel Club Jalandhar Celebrates Monthly Meet with Festive Spirit and Wins Big at District Awards
The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar held its monthly general body meeting on 6th August under the Presidentship of Ms. Inderkiran Toor, marked by vibrant celebrations, games, and enthusiastic participation. The event was themed around multiple festivals—Independence Day, Friendship Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, and Sawan—celebrated with great fervor.

Jalandhar, August 7, 2025: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar held its monthly general body meeting on 6th August under the Presidentship of Ms. Inderkiran Toor, marked by vibrant celebrations, games, and enthusiastic participation. The event was themed around multiple festivals—Independence Day, Friendship Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, and Sawan—celebrated with great fervor.
The celebration featured a lively Ramp Walk and engaging games. Members dressed in festive attire enjoyed a patriotic song and a graceful dance performance by the Executive members to commemorate Independence Day.

Best Mukut – Niru Chawla
Best Rakhi – Pooja Saini
Best Dressed (Independence Day) – Niru Chawla, PDC Jagbans Toor, Pooja Saini
Best Dressed (Sawan) – Dalbir Kaur
The event concluded with an energetic round of Tambola and fun games conducted by Project Organiser Seema Arora.
In another proud achievement, eight members of the club attended the District Award Function KSHITIJ at Dharamshala, where the club was honored with several prestigious accolades. Highlights include:
Saraswati Maa Trophy for Best Club and Best Projects
President Punam Jagota receiving 1st Prize for Best President and an Appreciation Award
Trophy for Women Empowerment
Certificates of Appreciation for Best Secretary and Best ISO
Recognition for the club’s signature project and its impactful contribution to the Cease-Cervical Cancer – HPV Vaccine initiative
Anita Chawla securing 3rd Prize in the “Rags to Bags” competition
The event concluded on a heartfelt note with Vice President Anita Chawla delivering the Vote of Thanks.
