Inner Wheel Club Jalandhar Celebrates January with Cultural Fervour and Awareness Session
The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar organised its monthly general meeting under the presidentship of Inderkiran Toor Ji, bringing members together in a joyful and celebratory atmosphere. The festive month of January was marked with great zeal and enthusiasm, reflecting the club’s spirit of fellowship and service.
Jalandhar, January 7, 2026: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar organised its monthly general meeting under the presidentship of Inderkiran Toor, bringing members together in a joyful and celebratory atmosphere. The festive month of January was marked with great zeal and enthusiasm, reflecting the club’s spirit of fellowship and service.
The meeting commenced on a lively note with a Punjabi song presented by Project Directors Neelu Mahendra and Anju Sharma. Following this, President Inderkiran Toor shared details of the activities planned for the month and elaborated on the formation, purpose and significance of the Inner Wheel organisation.
Renowned radiologist Dr. Shikha Chawla graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and was accorded a warm floral welcome. She delivered an informative talk on “Radiation – Myths and Facts”, along with an insightful session on cancer awareness, radiation and preventive measures. The biodata of the Chief Guest was presented by Nimmi Chaudhary.
The cultural segment added colour to the meeting with a soulful Lohri song by Pushpa Arora and a Republic Day-themed poem by Jaswant Minhas, who also shared valuable insights into the Indian Constitution.
Adding to the celebratory spirit, Secretary Nidhi Sehgal announced the birthdays and wedding anniversaries of members for the month. This was followed by Tambola on Lohri and Republic Day themes, along with fun games and a quiz conducted by the Project Directors, where winners were duly awarded.
The meeting concluded on a cheerful and enthusiastic note with a vote of thanks proposed by Vice President Anita Chawla, leaving members enriched and inspired.
