Inner Wheel Club Chairman Sonika Gupta visits Nirdosh School for mentally challenged

Ludhiana: Inner Wheel Club Ludhiana’s District Chairman Sonika Gupta visited Nirdosh School for the Mentally Challenged recently. This was the first visit of the Chairman during these pandemic times. Ms Gupta appreciated the work carried out by the physiotherapist and the vocational rehabilitation units. She handed rations to the staff of Nirdosh and awarded educational scholarships to two college girls.

She also appreciated the work of the Inner Wheel Club in installation of solar lights in Doraha and the development of the urban forest cover in Doraha.

The meeting was attended by many members of the Inner Wheel Club. President Irvinder briefed the members about the future projects of the club while Secretary Ranbir Kaur placed out the project report. A bulletin BLISS was released at the meeting by Editor Poonam Bindra. This first physical meeting during the pandemic instilled a lot of confidence in the members. The Chairman extolled the members to work more towards community projects keeping in mind all safety guidelines.
