INDUSTRIALISTS start fixing stickers on vehicles against hike in power tariff

Ludhiana-based industrialists putting up these stickers on their vehicles, as a mark of protest against the recent hike in power tariff.

Ludhiana, April 19, 2013: Further continuing its protest against the recent hike in power tariff, the members of All Industries and Trade Forum have started fixing stickers on their cars.

According to the available information, the stickers carried slogans such as roll back the increase in electricity tariff and stop harassing the industries. Slogans also included “jago sarkar jago” (wake up government, wake up).

The forum has also decided to call all the MLAs of the Ludhiana in the UCPMA premises here to let them know about the difficulties being faced by them, said the UCPMA president Gurmeet Singh Kular who is leading the newly formed Forum .
