Industrialists celebrated World Intellectual Property Day at CTR

Ludhiana, April 26, 2022: Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO) in association with Central Tool Room (CTR) and Intellectual Property Felicitation Centre Ludhiana; under the leadership of Gurpreet Singh Kahlon Member MSME Board Government of India, organized an interactive session on Importance of Intellectual Property Rights for MSMEs on World Intellectual Property Day at Central Tool Room, Focal Point Ludhiana, and discussed in detail the benefits of registering Intellectual Property. 
 
Gurpreet Singh Kahlon said that once the innovation of a new product is done, we all must definitely get that product patent which is very important for brand image & brand value. 

Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO mentioned that if owners fail to register their IPs, then their competitors can take unfair benefit and exploit their ideas and brand value. While sharing his personal experience, he emphasized on brand building to have a competitive edge and the necessity to protect the brand.

A.P. Sharma G.M. CTR said that we all must work on the maintaining the quality of our tools and dies, jigs & fixtures so that the quality of our products can be assured.
