Industrial organizatons welcomed newly appointed general manager of district industries center’s Maninder Singh
Today, Maninder Singh assumed charge as the General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC) in Ludhiana. He has previously served as a Functional Manager at the same centre.
Ludhiana, July 29, 2026: Today, Maninder Singh assumed charge as the General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC) in Ludhiana. He has previously served as a Functional Manager at the same centre.
Industrial organizations in Ludhiana thanked the government for appointing Maninder Singh to this position. They urged him to prioritize the resolution of over a hundred pending files related to 'Invest Punjab' at the centre.
The industrial bodies also requested Maninder Singh to take up the issue of the approaching deadline for operating industries in mixed land-use areas with the government on a priority basis.
Furthermore, the associations demanded the speedy resolution of cases concerning delayed payments; Maninder Singh assured them that he would prioritize clearing these long-pending files.
Badish Jindal (President, World MSME Forum), Narinder Bhamra (President, Fastener Manufacturers Association of India), Mahesh Khanna (former Joint Director, Department of Industries), Vinod Thapar (President, Knitwear Club), Rajkumar Singla (President, Fastener Suppliers Association), Ravi Miglani (President, Ludhiana Wire Manufacturing Association), along with General Secretary Vinay Jain and Aditya Gupta, were present on the occasion.
