Induction programme by Geography Department PU

Chandigarh: The Department of Geography, Panjab University organized an online Induction-cum-Orientation Program from August 5-7, 2020 for the students of ongoing classes in the three Masters courses being run in the Department, informed Prof. Simrit Kahlon, Chairperson. The students were introduced to the concept of online classes, the challenges of online teaching learning process and the decorum to be maintained during the classes. The students were made aware of the changes made in the time-table to minimize exposure to online devices.  The students were also encouraged to share their experiences and relate the challenges faced during the lockdown. The teachers advised the students to follow the norms of social distancing and respect the health of fellow citizens as well as take care of their own well-being.
