Chandigarh, March 24, 2026: “This interaction marks a significant step towards strengthening trade ties and fostering meaningful collaborations between India and South Africa. Platforms like these open new avenues for entrepreneurs to expand globally,” said Deepak Shukla, President, Chandigarh BRICS.
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Chandigarh Chapter organized an India–South Africa B2B Interaction on Tuesday, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and trade representatives to explore bilateral opportunities.
The session aimed at strengthening commercial ties between India and South Africa by facilitating direct business-to-business engagement. Participants discussed potential collaborations across sectors such as trade, manufacturing, technology, and services.
A distinguished delegation from South Africa also attended, including Thulasizwe Ngubane, President of the South African Coalition of Civil Society Organizations; Lindo Mkhwanazi, CEO of Greater LTP Projects; Lebogang Zulu (HRH), Chairwoman of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance South Africa; and Asraf Iman.
The interaction provided a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and identifying new avenues for partnerships. Industry experts highlighted the growing importance of India–South Africa relations within the BRICS framework, emphasizing mutual growth and investment opportunities.
The initiative reflects continued efforts by the Chamber to promote international trade linkages and support local businesses in expanding their global footprint.
