Jalandhar, May 8, 2014: Indian Medical Association (IMA), Jalandhar held a meeting under the chairmanship of Dr Sushma Chawla, President of the IMA, Jalandhar.

As many as 250 doctors and sizable number of eminent industrialists of Jalandhar were present.

The Chief guest was Dr.K.C.Mehra, Chairman, National Board for Quality Promotion, Quality Council of India (QCI).

Dr.R.S.Chahal, Director, Kidney Hospital & Lifeline Medical Institutions spoke on "Happy Hospital Make Happy Patients". He focused on centric care in hospitals and emphasised the need to provide affordable treatment in happy surroundings.

Dr K.C.Mehra unfolding his views on "Disseminating Quality Knowledge Parameters and Implementation through Collaborative Effort" where as Vivek Mitra, Director and Advisor, National Board for Quality Promotion, Quality Council of India (NBQO) gave a talk on "Motivation-The Bedrock of Implementation" and Dr Nityanand Thakur, Head-NABH-Safe-I, touched on "Impact of Infection Control in Health care, a practical example".

The very scientific topics which were very informative were well received by the audience and appreciated.

The scientific session was followed by a cultural Dance and Bhangra, which was enjoyed by one and all on the occasion.
