Ludhiana, May 16, 2014: The Indian Institute of Architects-Ludhiana Centre has welcomed stable Government in India.

In a statement here today, the IAA- LC chairman Sanjay Goel, said Ludhiana Architects feel that it will bring a lot of “Development” on all fronts at every level.

The master planning of our cities including Ludhiana is highly important from all parameters, especially, without any political interference.

“We hope that Ludhiana/Punjab will get a lot of attention as well as funds from New Central Government, National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by a dynamic Prime Minister, Narendra Modi”, he added.

He said proper development of the cities could not take place in the past decades perhaps due to unstable Governments.

He added Urban and Rural infrastructure including Roads, Water supply, Sewerage system, Agriculture, Airports, Railway Stations, Bus Stands, Metros, Storm Water Disposal, Clean Environment etc. suffered a lot in the past may be due to different governments at Punjab State as well as at National Level.

“We request the new government to create separate Ministry for Architects, Engineers and Town Planners like it’s there for Doctors, Advocates, CA’s etc.”, he urged.
