Chandigarh, March 23, 2013: Indian Idol 6 sensation Devendra Pal Singh was in the ‘City Beautiful– Chandigarh’ to inaugurate the Indian Idol Junior Audition booth. The Indian Idol sensation alongwith hundreds of enthusiastic kids stormed into DT Mall to audition for Indian Idol Junior at the specially created audition booth. Children aged between 5 – 15yrs accompanied by their parents showed up at DT Mall to showcase their singing prowess. These lucky few have got the unique opportunity to jump the queue and register themselves for the Mega auditions.

An elated Devendra said, It was like a walk down the memory lane. The city has always produced some really good talent and there were many young singers today who blew me away with their singing. I am sure that the judges are going to have a tough time.” 

Indian Idol Junior – the all new version of the hugely popular hit show that offers paisa vasool entertainment is back in a brand new format. This year Indian Idol Junior will cover the entire nation to scout for the best singing talent and the auditions will be held in the following cities:
