Direct benefits expected across key sectors include semiconductors and electronics manufacturing, renewable energy and green hydrogen, digital economy and fintech, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, agriculture commodities and food processing, infrastructure, logistics, tourism, and hospitality. Enhanced collaboration in start-ups, skills development, technical and vocational education (TVET), and innovation ecosystems is a win-win to both the parties, he said.
Emphasis on digital payments, local currency settlement, skills development, and innovation-led growth highlights the intent to make bilateral economic cooperation future-ready, he added.
