Inauguration of Rs.1.60 crore project of RCC Road

Ludhiana, January 30, 2014: Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria (Mayor) and Hakam Singh Gaispura (ex Mayor) inaugurated Rs.1.60 crore project of RCC Road (Single Cycle Road) from G.T Road to Soverign Exports.

On this occasion, Chairman, Tejwinder Singh BigBen and President Satnam Singh Makkar of Dhandari Industrial Welfare Association welcomed Gohalwaria. Rajiv Jain, President, Lagu Udyog Bharti said that this is a long-pending demand of industries because this road is connecting GT Road with Industrial Area-C.

Jagatvir Singh, Director, Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society demanded that Advisory Board should be constituted for the clean and Green Ludhiana.

Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisation (FICO), said that industry is paying huge revenue to Ludhiana Municipal Corporation in the shape of property tax, water & sewerage charges, therefore, development in industrial areas should be on the priority of the Corporation. He thanked to the Mayor & ex Mayor for starting this project because this area is neglected for last 3 years.
