Chandigarh, April 25, 2026: Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today inaugurated the 8th Sudama Cup Veteran Badminton Tournament. On this occasion, he also played badminton himself and appreciated the skill and enthusiasm of the players.
Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, Tewari said that he feels proud to be a part of this tournament. He added that such events are a wonderful display of the talent and sportsmanship of the players. He also praised the organizers for conducting such an excellent event, stating that tournaments like these not only promote health but also strengthen social harmony and sports culture.
On this occasion, Tewari also felicitated the winners of various competitions. Prominent personalities including Pramod Mitra, S.P. Singh, Raja Mohali, Tajinder Singh Bedi, Raj Singh, and Parminder Singh were also present at the event.
