In collaboration with The Artemis Hospitals, Smartworld organised a session for Cancer Awareness

Gurugram, February 4, 2023: This World Cancer Day, Smartworld Developers, with the theme of ‘Care for Smartians’ observed Cancer Awareness with employees. In collaboration with The Artemis Hospitals, Smartworld organised a session for Cancer Awareness by Dr Sukriti Gupta, Consultant – Haematology & BMT. The event commenced at 11am at Smartworld Office in Gurugram, continued till 12.30pm.

Dr Sukriti educated the hall full of employees on the Blood-cell disorders covering– Anaemia, Thalassemia & its genetic screening, Bone Marrow examination. The consultant emphasised on the importance of healthy eating, exercise and most importantly - Preventive Health Check-ups. Importance of periodic health check-up focussed on cancer screening for all post 40 years of age – men & women – was explained. For men, prostate screening and for women - breast and cervical screening is advisable to diagnose any ailment in the beginning itself.
