Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the district administration is continuously carrying out a crackdown against illegal constructions and unauthorized colonies in the controlled and urban areas of Rohtak district.
Rohtak, January 14, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the district administration is continuously carrying out a crackdown against illegal constructions and unauthorized colonies in the controlled and urban areas of Rohtak district.
As part of this ongoing drive, demolition action was undertaken in Village Bohar, where an unauthorized colony being developed over approximately 2.25 acres was targeted. During the operation, one illegal structure was demolished.
The Deputy Commissioner made it clear that illegal constructions and unauthorized colonies will not be allowed to proliferate in the district, and such enforcement drives will continue without interruption. He strongly cautioned citizens not to invest their hard-earned savings in illegal constructions or unauthorized colonies, as the administration regularly takes strict action against such violations.
During the demolition drive at Village Bohar, officials and staff from the District Town Planner’s Office were present. Adequate police force was also deployed with the demolition team to maintain law and order and to handle any untoward situation.
DTP Sumandeep appealed to citizens to refrain from investing in illegal constructions or unauthorized colonies being developed by unscrupulous dealers or landowners.
