I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University inks agreement with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)

Jalandhar/Kapurthala, July 30, 2019: To promote innovation & entrepreneurial cultural in University campuses and affiliated colleges, I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University inked an Agreement with "The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)" Chandigarh.

This agreement named as “Industry Academia Collaboration Agreement”. From University side it was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay K. Sharma & from TiE side signed by President TiE Munish Jauhar.

Under this collaboration, TiE members will visit University campuses & affiliated colleges for Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps. TiE will also organize Internship Drive & Placement Drive twice in a year exclusively for IKGPTU students.

On the occasion of this agreement signing ceremony, VC Prof. (Dr.) Sharma congratulate both the teams for this successful start. He also interacted with the core teams of both sides & shared his experiences.

During this occasion, Er. Navdeepak Sandhu, Deputy Director, Training & Placement IKGPTU also announced TAP Business Plan Competition – 2019. He shared that TAP competition aims to generate the initial spark among the students to develop their ideas into startups. Selected ideas will be mentored by CEOs & Founders of TiE members companies.
