IKGPTU released Counseling schedule of LEET admissions, Diploma Students were waiting

Jalandhar/Kapurthala, August 10, 2023: I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) has released the admission schedule of LEET i.e. Lateral Entry Program on Thursday. Through this, students/aspirants in B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses will be able to apply for admission in the 2nd year directly. Thousands of diploma holder students of the state were waiting for this admission chance. The university has started registration for this from August 11, which will have to be done through an online medium by visiting the university's website. University spokesperson said that students will be able to apply for admission in the main campus Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Sri Amritsar Sahib and Mohali campus & affiliated colleges of the university under this option. Along with the host I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University Bathinda is also participating in this online counseling of LEET.

University's Dean Academic cum Chief Coordinator Admission Prof (Dr.) Vikas Chawla said that the university has two rounds for LEET counseling. The registration, counseling fee deposition and choice filling for the first round will continue from August 11 to August 14. Rank preparation and results will be announced on 17th August. He said that the second round of LEET counseling will start from 21st August.

The spokesperson said that under the "LEET" counseling, there are enough seats available for diploma holder students in all the campuses of University and affiliated colleges of the university. He informed that the university has started direct admission and spot counseling admissions for the remaining seats as well in various courses. According to the spokesperson, due to availability of seats, students should approach the university soon for direct admission.
