Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal shared about the late Gujral Sahib's invaluable legacy, the "Gujral Doctrine." He explained that the formulation of the "Gujral Doctrine" is considered a milestone in India's foreign policy. It was formulated in 1996 by Shri Inder Kumar Gujral, who served as Foreign Minister in the government of former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda. This doctrine states that India, as a major country in South Asia, must grant unilateral concessions to its smaller neighbors and maintain cordial relations with them. This doctrine has proven so effective that friendly smaller neighboring countries continue to stand with India and its developmental decisions to this day. He suggested that students read it in its entirety.
Deputy Registrar Public Relations Office Rajneesh Sharma discussed the life philosophy of former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral, recounting his journey from birth to becoming Prime Minister.
