IKGPTU Extends Last Date of Admissions for COA, AICTE, UGC & PCI Courses

Jalandhar/Kapurthala, September 5, 2026: I K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Jalandhar-Kapurthala, has extended the last date for admissions to various programmes regulated by the Council of Architecture (COA), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The University has extended the admission schedule in accordance with the directions issued by the respective regulatory bodies. As per the latest admission notifications issued by the University, the extended last date for AICTE and UGC-regulated courses is September 14, 2026, while the last date for PCI and COA-regulated courses is September 15, 2026.

Sharing the information in the larger interest and benefit of students, the Registrar IKGPTU, Dr Navdeepak Sandhu said that the extension provides an important opportunity for students who have not yet secured admission in their preferred courses or colleges affiliated with IKGPTU, as well as at the University’s campuses.

Registrar Dr Sandhu, advised students who are still seeking admission to make use of this extended opportunity and complete the admission process within the stipulated deadlines. Students may visit the official IKGPTU website www.ptu.ac.in for detailed admission information, eligibility criteria, programme details and the admission process. They may also approach the nearest IKGPTU campus or affiliated college for further guidance and assistance.

The University has its campuses at *Kapurthala, Amritsar Sahib, Batala, Hoshiarpur, Mohali Campus-I and Khoonimajra (Mohali Campus-II)*. In addition, IKGPTU has a network of affiliated colleges located across Punjab, offering a wide range of academic and professional programmes.

The extended admission dates are particularly significant for students aspiring to pursue programmes in *Engineering, Management, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Humanities and other professional disciplines*.

The University Registrar further urged eligible students who are yet to take admission to not miss this final opportunity and to complete the admission formalities before the respective extended deadlines.
