IKG PTU released the list of admission courses for its various campuses

Chandigarh/Jalandhar/Kapurthala, May 20, 2025: I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) has released the list of admission courses for its various campuses for admission session 2025 - 26. The university has also launched the registration cum admission portal for online admissions, initially provisional admissions. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof (Dr) Susheel Mittal has launched it under "Maximum Digital Solutions and Facilitation" to students. The university conducts its admissions through digital medium every year and updates its digital admission portal every time through the feedback of students and their parents. This time the admission portal has been made even more student friendly. The University has opened admissions through this portal at Main Campus Kapurthala, Sri Amritsar Sahib Campus, Hoshiarpur Campus, Mohali Campus (One & Two) and its Batala Campus.

Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Susheel Mittal said that digital admissions are providing an easy & transparent way to the students. He said that students from other states including Punjab are also coming & approaching through digital resources for admissions in all the University campuses. Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Mittal said that it is the result of the better work of the Punjab government that the confidence of the students in government universities and educational institutions has increased. Citing the ultra-modern infrastructure and best & highly qualified faculty of the university, he appealed to the parents and students to definitely check the capability, capacity of the educational institutions from home through digital medium.

According to the information released by the University Admission Committee, admissions are open in Engineering for CSE, ECE, EE, ME, CE, ECS under B. Tech Regular admissions and LEET too in the University Main Campus. Apart from this, admissions are also open in M. Tech (CSE) and Civil Engineering-structural engineering, geotechnical engineering. Admission applications are being invited for other courses at the University Main Campus, including B. Voc. (Automobile Service, Food Technology), BCA/BCA (LEET), MCA, BBA, MBA, BA/MA (Journalism and Mass Communication), BHMCT. The course B.Sc. (Hons)//M.Sc in Chemistry, Maths, Physics and Food Technology are also available in the main campus. Apart from this, admissions are also being done on merit in B. Sc (MLS, Computer Science) and M. Sc (MLS - Biochemistry). 

Admissions have been opened at IKG PTU Sri Amritsar Sahib Campus for B.Tech/B.Tech (LEET) - CSE, ME and BCA/BCA (LEET), BBA. For IKGPTU Hoshiarpur Campus, the admission applications are being accepted for B. Tech/B. Tech (LEET) - CE, CSE, ME and BCA/BCA (LEET). 

University is having two campuses at Mohali. Admissions have started at Mohali Campus one for B.Tech/B.Tech (LEET) - CSE, CSE (AI & ML), BCA/BCA (LEET) and BBA. At Mohali Campus (two) admissions applications are invited for B. Architecture, M. Planning, B. Voc (Interior Design) courses. The University has opened admissions for BCA/BCA (LEET) and BBA in its Batala Campus.

University Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Susheel Mittal, Registrar Dr. S.K. Mishra, Dean Academics cum Chief Coordinator Admissions Prof Dr Vikas Chawla congratulated the team for launching the student friendly portal and the Academic cum Admissions Department for the digital launch of transparent admissions. On this occasion Dean cum Admissions Core Committee Chairman Prof Dr Satbir Singh, Admissions Publicity Committee Chairman Dr Rajeev Bedi & Deputy Registrar Public Relations Rajneesh Sharma were present to support the admissions execution team.
