Ik Mithi Yaad function held in Doaba College

Jalandhar, March 30, 2024: Department of Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Doaba College, Jalandhar organized “Ik Mithi Yaad”, A Rubaroo with Ram Kiran Chopra, a renowned voiceover artist and an alumnus of Doaba College. He was warmly welcomed by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Ominder Johl, Dr. Avinash Chander, Dean, ECA and Dr. Simran Sidhu, Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. 

In his welcome address, Dr. Avinash Chander, delved on the achievements of Ram Kiran Chopra and said that he has given his voice to many great personalities of the Bollywood viz. Amitabh Bachan, Amir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Rithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and many more. In addition to these he has also given his voice to famous players like Sachin Tendlukar, Mahinder Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli etc. 

On this occasion, Ram Kiran Chopra shared the memories of his college days with the students. He said that the college has contributed a lot in his career development. He said that he had won many prizes and trophies for the college in his student life. For the entertainment of the students, he also uttered the voices of many famous personalities like Amitabh Bachan, Shahrukh Khan, Sachin Tendlukar and Virat kohli.  He advised the students to be punctual, positive and professional in their approach towards life. He said that one should be honest in relationships and should never break communication. 

Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, in his presidential address, said that students like Ram Kiran Chopra are icons of any institution. He advised to the students to learn from the life of Sh. Ram Kiran Chopra and achieve similar heights in life.
