IHM Students Get a Taste of Wine Expertise
Students of the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Tilyar, got hands-on exposure to the finer aspects of wine during a special workshop organised in collaboration with Tulleeho Beverage Academy.

Rohtak, September 30, 2026: Students of the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Tilyar, got hands-on exposure to the finer aspects of wine during a special workshop organised in collaboration with Tulleeho Beverage Academy.
The workshop focused on strengthening students’ practical knowledge and professional skills in the food and beverage sector. Trainers Sachi Lamba and Ankit Bhatia introduced the students to different types of wine, their flavours, aromas, characteristics and serving techniques.
The experts also explained practical aspects of wine service and addressed students’ queries, giving them insights into industry practices. A total of 62 students participated in the workshop.
IHM lecturer Vikas Deshwal said such expert-led sessions help students connect classroom learning with practical applications and develop industry-relevant skills.
IHM Principal Shambhu Nath Gautam said practical training was crucial in the hospitality sector, adding that interaction with industry experts helps boost students’ confidence and professional competence. Workshop coordinator and assistant lecturer Tarun Hooda thanked the trainers and the academy team for their support.
