IGNOU, Study Centre Panjab University marks eye donation week

Chandigarh, August 30, 2021: The students of Social Work at the IGNOU study centre Panjab University Chandigarh marked the Eye awareness and donation week at USOL today. The programme was organised by Dr Monica Singh Faculty Social Work and presided over by Coordinator, IGNOU Mr Jessu Jaskaran Singh. Dr Ujjawal and Mr Raghvendra Rai Medical Social Welfare officer of the Eye department, GMCH 32 Chandigarh delivered a talk where they mentioned about the importance of eye care, prevention of various eye problems and motivated the students to sensitise the society about the same and also encourage people to come forward for eye donation pledge. It was an interactive session which would further help in reaching out to the various sections of the society.
