IETSS-EMAT:2013- mega engineering expo by CICU to promote business in Punjab

Ludhiana, October 24, 2013: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana during the last 25 years has played a significant role for the growth and development of commerce and industry in Punjab. 

Now, CICU announced first mega engineering expo `International Engineering Technology & Sourcing Show’ (IETSS-EMAT: 2013) at Glada Ground, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana; to be held from November 29 to December 2.

 The main purpose of organising the event is to show case the products manufactured in Punjab and acquire the latest technology from outside world.

The event will be inaugurated by Madan Mohan Mittal, Minister of Industries, Punjab on November 29.

Exhibition will be showcasing innovations in the field of engineering and advancement of technology used to carry on different phases of production right from placing the raw-material into shop floor to finishing goods in the modern storage godown. It will have participation of over 300 exhibitors from Indian and foreign companies such as Japan, China, Germany, Yemen and many more.

The expo will have 6 Hangers for the participating companies comprising of overseas and national representatives or channel partners.

Special focus will be given to micro and small sectors.  It will open a new era for micro and small sector of Punjab, who have not seen the light of modern world.  NSIC will be providing subsidy to micro and small units.

The focus sectors of this show will be; Machine Tools, Hand Tools, Sheet Metal Components, Auto Parts, Tractor Parts, Bicycle Parts, Sewing Machine Parts, Fasteners, Agro Engineering Products, Power Tools, Engineering Measurement Devices, Pneumatics & Hydraulics Products, CNC Machines, Transformers & Industrial Electricals, Light & Heavy Batteries, Forgings, Security & Surveillance, Solar Energy Products, Food Processing Machinery, Textile & Knitting Machinery and Products for Low Cost Auto Machines.

Foreign Delegation from Sri Lanka, Pakistan and other African and Arabic countries will grace this event.

This will attract more than 40000-50000 visitors from varies industries across the Indian and foreign countries; especially; from African, Asian, Arabic continents.  Purchase Heads from prominent Auto Components Manufacturers throughout India and International Representatives from Purchase Offices will be participating in the show.

First of its kind in Punjab, a concurrent national event “Arab-Africa” Conclave comprising 10-15 Diplomats from African and Arabian countries will add enthusiasm and liveliness on the closing day of the show.  This will explore opportunities of bi-lateral trade ties amongst all Diplomats of these countries.
