ICAR-CIPHET Transfers Mechanized Makhana Popping Machine Technology to Bihar based firm

Considering the nutritional importance and growing market potential of makhana, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana has developed a mechanized makhana popping machine system to improve processing efficiency and product quality.
In this regard, Anil Kumar Singh, M/s Aadya Agritech Private Limited, Bihar, approached ICAR-CIPHET for obtaining a license for the mechanized makhana popping machine technology. The technology licensing process was facilitated by Dr. Ranjeet Singh, Head, ToT Division and I/c ITMU, and Dr. R.K. Vishwakarma, one of the technology developers.
Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana, formally awarded the certificate of licensing to the entrepreneur and assured full institutional support for the successful establishment and commercialization of the venture.
