ICAR-CIPHET organizes National Webinar and Trimonthly Workshop

Ludhiana, December 27, 2021: As the country is celebrating 75 years of its Independence with the theme ‘Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahaotsav’, ICAR-CIPHET is organizing national webinar series on its technologies. On the occasion of trimonthly workshop of Raajbhasha Hindi this webinar was organized both offline/online in Hindi for its stakeholders on Wadi Making. This webinar was commenced with the lecture on ‘Vaigyaneek Prastutikaran Ke Dauraan Hindi Ki Takneeki Shabdawalee Ka Upyog’ by Dr. Rajedra Sahil, Head, Department of Hindi, Guru Harogovind Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana followed by a deliberation on ‘Entrepreneurship through Mechanized Wadi Making, “Wadi Banane Kee Yantrikrit Takneek Se Udyamita Vikas’ by Dr.Sandeep Mann, Principal Scientist and its investigator. With detailed presentation and operational videos, Dr. Mann elaborately explained his technology and justified the potential and entrepreneurship opportunities in mechanized wadi making. On its valedictory remarks, Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana highlighted the importance and ethnic food like Wadi for Indian consumers and appealed youngsters/unemployed youths to come forward to join with the institute to take this technology into the field and tap the market potential. He also asserted that the presentation in Raajbhasha Hindi will help this technology reach to the mass and especially farmers and rural youths. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale and guidance of Dr. D. N. Yadav, Head, TOT, this webinar was coordinated by Mr. Vikas Kumar and Dr. Sandeep Dawange, scientists. Experts and participants were welcomed by Mr.Vikas Kumar, Scientist and I/c Raajbasha Prakoshth and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sandeep Dawange, scientist.
