ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana organized Hands-on training on Physicochemical and Microbiological Analysis of Minor Forest Produce and Allied Products of Chhattisgarh state
Ludhiana, June 18, 2026 ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana organized hands-on training programme (8-18th June, 2026) for Laboratory Interns from CGMFPFed, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on “Physicochemical and Microbiological Analysis of Minor Forest Produce and Allied Products of Chhattisgarh state” under the collaborative project “Research, Development & Capacity Building Activities on Processing and Value Addition of Forest Produce of Chhattisgarh State.”
The hands-on training was provided to participants on relevant laboratory techniques and analytical methodologies.
The training program was coordinated by Dr. Poonam (Scientist), Dr. Manju Bala (Pr. Scientist), Dr. Surya Tushir (Sr. Scientist), and Dr. Swati Sethi (Sr. Scientist). Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET graced the valedictory function on Thursday, and interacted with the participants, appreciating their enthusiasm and active involvement throughout. He emphasized the importance of quality assurance and value addition in enhancing the economic potential of minor forest produce and strengthening the livelihoods of forest-dependent communities.
The participants expressed their gratitude to ICAR-CIPHET and the organizing team for providing valuable practical exposure.
