ICAR- CIPHET inaugurated online certificate course on microbiological and biochemical techniques in industries

Ludhiana, January 12, 2022: To celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology (CIPHET), Ludhiana has launched a 10-day Online Certificate Course on Microbiological and Biochemical Techniques in Industries, to be held during January 11 to January 20, 2022. Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, inaugurated the Online Certificate Course on January 11, 2022, and complimented the organising team. Dr. K. Narsaiah, Head (Acting), AS&EC Division, discussed the long-term vision and need for organising this Online Certificate Course on Microbiological and Biochemical Techniques. Dr. R. C. Kasana, Pr. Scientist & Course Coordinator of this Online Certificate Course shared with the participants about the rationale behind this training course is to familiarise participants with microbial bioprocesses, the operation of various instruments used in industrial bioprocesses, and various analytical techniques used in these processes. This training will bring together 25 participants from throughout the country. The programme was coordinated by Course Co- Coordinator Ms. Surya Tushir and Dr. Poonam, AS&EC Division. This programme was attended by more than 50 participants.
