ICAR-CIPHET and Secure Sense Foundation Join Hands to Empower Farmers
Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre of ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology (CIPHET), Ludhiana, has joined hands with Secure Sense Empowerment Foundation, Mansa through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost agri-entrepreneurship and skill development.

Ludhiana, August 29, 2025: Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre of ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology (CIPHET), Ludhiana, has joined hands with Secure Sense Empowerment Foundation, Mansa through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost agri-entrepreneurship and skill development.
This collaboration will focus on empowering farmers, youth, and women by providing training, incubation support, and exposure to post-harvest technologies. While ICAR-CIPHET will extend technical expertise and innovations, Secure Sense Empowerment Foundation will mobilize local communities and support capacity-building initiatives.
The partnership aims to create sustainable agri-business ventures, enhance farmers’ income, and open new avenues of rural employment. Both organizations believe this joint effort will pave the way for self-reliant villages and inclusive growth in the agri-sector.
On this occasion, Dr. Ranjeet Singh remarked, “ABI will actively provide technical handholding, mentorship, and incubation support to nurture agri-startups and empower local entrepreneurs to become self-reliant.”
Following this, Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale handed over the MoU and assured that “all possible institutional support, technical expertise, and incubation facilities will be extended to make this collaboration impactful for farmers and rural youth.”
This partnership is expected to strengthen sustainable agri-business ventures, empower youth and women, and generate rural employment across Punjab.
