I wish Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra contest from Dakha in my place: Manpreet Singh Ayali
“Waris Punjab De” senior leader and MLA from Mullanpur Dakha, Manpreet Singh Ayali, said that it is his earnest wish that Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra contest the forthcoming Punjab Assembly elections from the Dakha constituency, describing it as a matter of great pride and honour for the people of the area.
Chandigarh, July 27, 2026: “Waris Punjab De” senior leader and MLA from Mullanpur Dakha, Manpreet Singh Ayali, said that it is his earnest wish that Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra contest the forthcoming Punjab Assembly elections from the Dakha constituency, describing it as a matter of great pride and honour for the people of the area.
He said that Bibi Khalra only need to file her nomination papers, the responsibility of securing her victory would be taken up by the Sangat of Dakha and party workers. He expressed confidence that party cadres and people of the constituency would leave no stone unturned in ensuring her success.
Ayali stated that he joined the Akali Dal “Waris Punjab De,” without placing any conditions before its leadership. He emphasized that he neither sought a party ticket nor aspired to any organisational position. Panthic issues and the welfare of Punjab have always remained his foremost priorities, Ayali said.
Reiterating his commitment to Panthic unity, Ayali urged all Panthic organisations and leaders to rise above personal ambitions and political considerations and work together for the larger interests of the Panth and Punjab. He said that he has consistently worked towards fostering Panthic unity and will continue to make every possible effort in that direction in the times ahead.
