I love life?s slow pace: Miranda Lambert

Los Angeles, May 13 (IANS) American country singer Miranda Lambert enjoys leading a "normal" life, away from spotlight, with her husband Blake Shelton.

Lambert and Shelton live in Tishomingo, a small town in Oklahoma when not working, and the 30-year-old singer, who starts her days by looking after her animals, loves the "slow" pace out of the spotlight.

''I love the slow pace, the normalcy that it gives me," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

The "Automatic" singer was previously known for being outspoken, but she is happy that she has now "calmed down", and is able to show new sides to her personality.

"With success, I've been able to sort of calm that down and go, 'Okay, I don't have to be guns a-blazin' all the time. People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is.' I have this other side. I love pink and puppies, too," said Lambert.
