“I constantly challenge myself not to take the safe route,” Rubina Dilaik on pushing her boundaries in and beyond on Amazon MX Player’s fitness reality show Battleground

Mumbai, May 7 2025: Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free streaming service, turns up the intensity with Battleground, a high-stakes fitness reality show where endurance is tested, limits are shattered, and only the toughest contenders earn their spotlight. With cricket legend Shikhar Dhawan stepping in as the ‘Super Mentor’, the show is led by four powerhouse mentors - Rajat Dalal, Abhishek Malhan, Rubina Dilaik, and Neeraj Goyat, each mentoring their squads with sharp strategy and unwavering motivation. Among them, Rubina rises as the anchor of Team Mumbai Strikers, blending unshakable resolve with a deep sense of empathy.
Reflecting on her journey with her team, Mumbai Strikers, Rubina Shared, “There were moments where I’ve felt incredibly proud. Watching Rekha pushing through despite her injury left me speechless. And Ankur, I remember the doubts people had about him early on, but he broke through every barrier and expectation. That kind of growth stays with you. Honestly, each of them rising in their own way felt like a victory for me too.”
Speaking about her personal growth through the series, she added, “For me, Battleground has always been about pushing boundaries. And I think that’s something I try to do even outside of this format. I constantly challenge myself not to take the safe route. Ironically, my comfort zone has been tuning out external opinions. But the more I’ve allowed myself to listen, the more I’ve discovered about who I am. It’s a constant balancing act between trusting myself and staying open to learning. I’m still figuring it out, one step at a time.”
