Bhamashah Jayanti is being celebrated all over India on 29th June

New Delhi, June 27, 2019: Bhamashah Jayanti is celebrated on 28th June every year. Raj Mahajan claims to be his descendant and disclosed this fact on his social media. He posted good wishes on his social media on the occasion of Bhamashah Jayanti. Raj Mahajan belongs to Mahore Vaish community. Bhamashah was also from the same community. He had produced a Music Video named ‘Bhama-Gatha’ released last year. Raj Mahajan got recognition from various institutions for his contribution for spreading awareness about Great Patriot Bhamashah. The music videos was appreciated by Vaish Communities.

Bhama-Gatha describes the story of great patriot & donor Bhamashah who was known for his courage and patriotism. He gave all his assets for the sake of the nation. Tales of bravery of donor Bhamashah were popular in Mewar. He was prime consultant and a true friend to Maharana Pratap Singh. Nation is indebted to donor Bhamashah for his sacrifice. During the battle of Haldighati, Maharana Pratap Singh got defeated and was forced to eat grass bread due to no funds. Then, warrior Bhamashah came forward and give away all his wealth to Maharana Pratap Singh. The money was enough to pay the salary to the warriors for about 12 years. Also, donor Bhamashah fought alongwith Maharana Pratap and lost his 2 sons in the battle against the mughals. Then, Maharana grabbed back the major portion of Mewar.

Raj Mahajan told, “Most of the people know about the warrior Maharana Pratap Singh and his battle with Mughals, but they don’t know that it was Bhamashah who gave all his wealth to Maharana Pratap Singh to reform battle with mughals when Rana was surviving on breads of grass hiding himself with family in forests. I want to explain about great warrior Bhamashah through this video song.”
